Pharmacy Technician Position

A pharmacy technician's primary job is to receive and fill prescription requests for patients. These prescription requests can come from hospitals, physicians, nurses or directly from the patient. The preparation of a prescription requires several tasks. The duties carried out by pharmacy technicians can include, retrieving prescription orders, counting, pouring, measuring and weighing tablets and medications, mixing medications, selecting the proper prescription container and creating prescription labels. After the prescription is filled, the pharmacy technician prepares it for pickup. A licensed pharmacist then checks the completed prescription before it is given to the patient.

The pharmacy technician's job also extends to the daily operation of the pharmacy itself, including interactions with hospitals and patients. Some other, non-medication-related duties include, preparing insurance claim forms, maintaining patient profiles, completing cash register transactions, answering phones, taking inventory of over-the-counter medications and being aware of the latest medicines and their availability.

Retail Sales Clerk – Part Time

Greet customers and determine what each customer is looking for. Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips and coupons and balancing cash drawers. Maintain current knowledge of sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges and security practices. Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts and how to prevent or handle these situations.

Recommend, select and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs. Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise. Price, arrange and display merchandise to promote sales. Clean shelves, counters and tables. Exchange merchandise and accept returns. Bag or package purchases. Inventory stock and requisition new stock. Prepare merchandise for sale.

Delivery Driver

As a Delivery Driver for Lakeview Pharmacy, you will provide customers with the kind of service that makes us a Pharmacy leader. You will create a customer experience that builds a lasting relationship and ensures Lakeview Pharmacy continues to be the pharmacy of choice. Responsibilities include schedule daily delivery routes; deliver pharmaceuticals to assisted living group homes and client homes. Computer skills are a plus as you will use automatic routing and location software. Requirements include loading, delivering and unload the van as needed. Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes in order to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition. Obey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures. Read maps, and follow written and verbal geographic directions. Verify the contents of inventory loads against the manifests. Maintain records such as vehicle logs or billing statements as needed. Present bills and receipts, and collect payments for goods delivered. Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles. Need to report delays, accidents, or other traffic situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios. Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries. You should have a clean driving record, a friendly demeanor and a keen sense of direction.
